Kensington

Nitro

Hyattsville

Nitro – Neither have registered a win yet this season and both teams will play hard to get their first win. This has been the home ground for both teams for several years now and they are familiar with the conditions. Nitro should take this battle.

Virginia

AFCA

Galwaypark

Virginia – This is another game between teams struggling this year. Although AFCA registered a win last weekend and Virginia has still not put any points on the board, I feel the all round strength of Virginia will prove too much for the hard hitting AFCA.

Boyds

Zolon

Soccerplex

Boyds – Zolon has been in terrific form this season. They have made an immediate impact in PD by winning 3 in a row but beating Boyds at their home field is a tough ask. Boyds have done exceptionally well at Soccerplex beating the WCL Powerhouse Tigers and Vikings in their previous two home games. Adil and co. will put the breaks on the Zolon charge.

Vikings

Cosmos

Hyattsville

Vikings – Ammar’s return to form is a big plus for Vikings. He is one player who can single handedly turn the game. I feel that Vikings will take this as long as they negotiate the Ashwin factor well.

Titans

Virginia

Veterans

Titans – Titans is a well oiled unit and the addition of Zaheer Abbasi has significantly strengthened Titans’ roster. Virginia is still finding its feet in this tournament and will find it difficult to register a win against the formidable Titans on their home turf.

Dulles

Tigers

Veterans

Dulles – Tigers has played some good cricket so far but lost a close match to Boyds at their home ground. Dulles on the other hand have been going full throttle. I feel the in-form Dulles will just about beat the Tigers in this game.

UMBC

Boyds

Woodmore

UMBC – UMBC gave Tigers a tough fight last weekend at Woodmore. Although they didn’t bat well, their bowling department troubled the Tigers’ batsmen and made it difficult for them to score 76 runs. With the heavy outfield and the tricky pitch, scoring has been difficult at this field. Boyds like good bounce and the ball coming on the bat. They will miss this privilege at Woodmore. I feel that UMBC’s familiarity with this field and conditions will help them register their second win of the season.
